Dragon Age: The Veilguard is an immersive single‐player action-RPG from BioWare, set in the rich fantasy world of Thedas. You play as Rook, a custom hero chosen to lead a new group known as the Veilguard—an alliance of seven companions drawn from varied backgrounds—on a mission to stop ancient, freed elven gods and prevent them from shattering the Veil, the boundary between the material world and the Fade.Gameplay blends robust character creation with action-RPG combat: you pick your race (human, elf, dwarf or Qunari), class (Warrior, Mage or Rogue) and back-story, then recruit companions and engage in fast-paced battles, employing a new ability wheel to command allies while you act.
